FAQ/ Error countermeasures for levee flow rate calculated by levee failure model¶
If you use the overflow formula in a levee model, the calculated breakage flow rate may exceed the river flow rate.
Do you have any measures in place in that case?

The flow rate of the floodplain from a certain river channel section can be adjusted so that the water depth of the river channel section does not become negative.
With this setting, if a negative depth of the river channel is detected, the time step is reduced and the calculation is recalculated.
