FAQ/ Calculation of the number of damaged houses, affected population, and flooded area

Can you calculate the number of damaged houses, the affected population, and the flooded area?

response

The flooded area is displayed on the result screen. Please refer to FAQ/How to check the calculation results.

The function of calculating the number of damaged houses and the affected population is not provided by default.

The function to count the number of damaged houses is an additional function (optional function). By combining it with a house map, etc., it is possible to list the total number of flooded houses under and above the floor, as well as the name, address, and depth of each house.

In addition, our sister product DioVISTA/Storm can extract the depth of submersion at many points.

  1. Output the calculation result of DioVISTA/Flood in netCDF format. Alternatively, obtain the results of the work of creating flood prediction areas from government agencies in netCDF format.

  2. Open the netCDF file in DioVISTA/Storm.

  3. Use the features in DioVISTA/Storm. [Submersion depth extraction]
