FAQ/ Effect of setting the river center line¶
What effect does setting the river center line have?
response¶
If you select for River[Connection of rivers and floodplain cells] Properties [Kawashin line as cell boundary] , it has an effect. On the other hand, if this value [Left and right coast lines into cells] is (the default), it has no effect.
[Left and right coast lines into cells] When you select : Cells through which the left and right shorelines pass, and cells surrounded by the left and right shorelines are disabled as river channel cells (they become cells in the flood model [Close] ). The user-specified left and right bank lines are used. The Kawashin Line is not used.
[Kawashin line as cell boundary] When you select : The cell boundary closest to the river line is disabled as a river channel. In this case, the river core line specified by the user is used. The left and right bank lines are not used. However, if the user does not set the river core line, the river core line is automatically created from the left bank line and right bank line specified by the user.
