FAQ/ I want to import DEM data loaned by the orderer

DEM data was loaned by the orderer. Can you capture this?

response

Whether it can be imported depends on the format.

You can easily import it by purchasing a separate "Map Converter".

If you do not use "Map Converter", you need to link with GIS software.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE USING THE ESRI ASCII RASTER FORMAT.

Step 1: Export the terrain data from DioVISTA.

The file name to be saved, for example, dem.asc.

Step 2: Edit the file (dem.asc) with GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS.

The coordinate system is WGS 84 UTM. For UTM zones, see Project Properties. Import the DEM you want to use into the imported raster layer and save it in ESRI ASCII raster format.

Step 3: Import that file (dem.asc) in DioVISTA.

Select
