FAQ/ Behavior when the cell where the drainage station is installed is not flooded¶
If the mesh on which the pump and gutter gate are installed is not flooded, how will the drainage station behave?
response¶
When the operation mode of the drainage station is pump, the water in the drainage area is drained regardless of whether the mesh on which the pump is installed is immersed or not. The flow rate of the discharged water is determined by a method that complies with the Flood Area Drawing Manual (4th Edition), p. 21, "Figure 3.2-8 Example of modeling of small channel and pump drainage".
The gutter gate drains water in the drainage area only when the mesh on which the gutter gate is installed is flooded. The flow rate of discharged water is determined by a formula that conforms to the Flood Area Drawing Manual (4th Edition), "Fig. 3.2-7 Outflow from Box Culverts, Gutter Pipes, etc."
However, when is set, even if the mesh connected to the gutter gate is not flooded, [Lower limit of gutter flow rate] if there is a mesh that has flooded within the drainage area of the gutter, it will drain at the lower limit (until there are no more meshes flooded in the drainage area).
