FAQ/ I want to analyze with a mesh size of 25m and output a flood depth with a mesh size of 5m.

The Guidelines for Digitization of Flood Prediction Area Map Data (3rd Edition) require that the inundation depth be calculated using a 5-m mesh even if the analysis is performed with a mesh size of 25 m.

In DioVISTA, if you perform analysis with a mesh size of 25 m and then set the mesh size to 5 m in the export settings, will the flood depth of the mesh size 5 m be output?

Also, in this case, will the terrain data with a mesh size of 5 m created by the user be used?

response

Yes. It works that way. The inundation depth distribution of a mesh size of 5 m is obtained by subtracting the ground height of a mesh size of 5 m from this inundation level.

For details, please refer to "FAQ / Inundation depth with a mesh size of 5 m was output even though analysis was performed with a mesh size of 25 m".
