What data do you use as terrain data (elevation data)?

The following elevation data is used: These are identical to the elevation data CD-ROM issued by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan.

  • Geospatial Information Authority of Japan numerical map 50m elevation mesh (elevation): Nationwide
  • Geospatial Information Authority of Japan numerical map 5m elevation mesh (elevation): Major cities only (districts for which the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan publishes data on CD-ROM; Tokyo wards, Edogawa area, southeastern Saitama area, Yokohama Oikawasaki, Nobi Plain, Kyoto and Osaka, etc.)

In addition, customers who purchase terrain data separately use the following data:

  • 5m elevation data created by our company based on the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan's basic map digital elevation model (5m and 10m): Nationwide
