Content Part 1: "Strategic Design for Urban Revitalization" *Lecture in English
Professor Dan Hill, University of Melbourne

Through case studies in Sweden, Australia, and Japan, we will discuss the integration of community-driven participatory urban revitalization and system-scale approaches, while touching upon the use of sensing, mapping, and interaction technologies, and social and cultural systems.
In particular, we will introduce the "Melbourne Biodiversity Networks" project, which aims to restore and revitalize urban waterways. This project includes collaboration with Hitachi, connecting graduate students, government and industry stakeholders, design, and DioVISTA.

Part 2: "Utilizing Flood Simulator for Flood Disaster Mitigation"
Satoshi Yamaguchi, Hitachi, Ltd.

Flood simulators are an important tool that contributes to strengthening flood disaster countermeasures and improving regional disaster resilience by being used for predicting flood risk, developing evacuation plans, and supporting infrastructure development. Based on this, we will discuss what DioVISTA can do now and our future development plans.
